Bio:
Jane has worked professionally as a specialised manager for dance music and hip hop music artists since 2000. Her ï¬rst management client was a young DJ called Kid Kenobi who, whilst under Jane's management was recognised nationally via many awards and accolades including Australian DJ of the Year in 2002 and 2003 as well as Remix of the Year in 2003 at the Australian Dance Music Awards, InTheMix #1 DJ in the Australian top 50 DJ people for three years running from 2003 - 2005, and an ARIA Nomination for Best Dance Release in 2007. Further to these awards Kid Kenobi also released eight mix compilations with Ministry of Sound which sold hundreds of thousands of copies in Australia and New Zealand, and his debut single was licensed to over twenty-ï¬ve compilations with respected dance music labels nationally and internationally. Beyond his domestic success, Kid Kenobi also toured internationally from 2004 until 2009 to over ï¬ve continents and over ï¬fteen countries playing a number of the world's most reputed clubs and festivals including Glade Festival, T In The Park and Fabric to name a few.
Today Jane manages Sampology, who's currently garnering much attention nationally and internationally for his AVDJ live shows, which he recently showcased to audiences in New York, LA and Austin, Texas. In the two years since Jane has managed Sampology, he's toured with the country's biggest music festivals including Big Day Out, Parklife, Good Vibrations, played sold out seasons at some of the world's biggest theatre venues and arts festivals including The New Victory Theatre on Broadway, Edinburgh Fringe Festival and Udderbelly London and has been personally invited to perform at some of the world's most respected music events including Big Chill Festival UK, SXSW Texas and the Berlin Music Festival. Sampology's debut EP signed to Finnish label Top Billin' is scheduled for release in late April 2011.
Jane also manages Jono Fernandez who's big room house productions consistently achieve strong chart positions on the ARIA Club Chart including a number of top 10 positions in the past two years. After a touring hiatus for the past twelve months buried in his Sydney studio, Jono Fernandez is about to release a number of massive originals and remixes over the next six months starting with his huge club tune “Hear Me” out on One Love in April 2011.
Beyond her work as an artist manager, Jane's background in advertising and media has seen her work on many music campaign and brand experiences for a number of corporate clients including Nokia Asia Paciï¬c, Olympus and ASICS Oceania. This background experience brings invaluable beneï¬ts today within the area of artist endorsement, sponsorship and branded experiences integrated with her artist roster. Jane is also a board member of the Music Manager's Forum Australia and is a committee member of the ARIA Club Chart Committee.
