She Can DJ is an A&R project which is to form part of the new dance strategy for EMI Australasia in 2011. EMI already represents a global lineup of dance acts from David Guetta to Deadmau5 to Tinie Tempah, Miami Horror, Empire of the Sun, Swedish House Mafia and Nervo. The winner of She Can DJ will join this International repertoire, selected from the existing wealth of top female DJ talent in Australia and New Zealand across many dance genres.

The entry mechanism will run through the SheCanDJ.com website from April 7 to May 6 2011. An intensive selection process will then lead up to the public announcement of the successful Top Ten and the subsequent countdown to the Sydney final event in September 2011, when the ultimate winner is to be selected by a core panel of Ambassador Judges.

The She Can DJ Winner will be offered a prize that includes the following:

• Offer of a Global Recording Contract with EMI
• Networking Trip to 2011 Ibiza Closing Parties
• Mix Compilation release under the She Can DJ banner
• Artist Album Release
• Producer Masterclass with an International Producer in 2012
• SAE course in Electronic music production
